DiagNano is an early stage technology company focusing on in vitro diagnostics. The company was formed in 2006 as a Georgia Tech College of Management and Emory Law School TI:GER project based on technology developed at Emory University. DiagNano has competed in a number of business competitions, including NanoNexus at Oak Ridge National Labs, I2P in Austin, TX the Georgia Tech Business Plan Competition in Atlanta and has also been invited to give posters and presentations at the 2007 Georgia Life Sciences Summit and the 2007 GT/Emory CCNE commercialization workshop, respectively. DiagNano most recently competed in the 2008 Rice Business Plan Competition, placing 1st in its challenge round.
The current management team is led by CEO Brad Kairdolf, a co-inventor of the DiagNano proprietary coating technology. Brad is finishing his biomedical engineering Ph.D. in a joint program at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University in the laboratory of Dr. Shuming Nie. CFO Kristina Crockett is a biomedical engineer and entrepreneur from the University of Georiga.
Kristina has experience providing financial consulting services to small businesses and is currently pursuing an MBA from the Georgia Insitute of Technology. Also on the team are Laura Huffman, a 3rd year law student at Emory University and Jarrett Silver, a JD/MBA from Emory University.
DiagNano is currently developing research grade products for biologists and clinicians and is seeking startup funding for product and clinical development of the NanoHC™ product line. Contact Us
